Post 6: Experience in online classes

Imagen
This has been a completely new and challenging year for everyone, particularly with the situation of the students and the classes. Today the classroom, in most cases, is a computer screen or a cell phone, as the coronavirus pandemic prevents classes from being held in person, and professionals must resort to ingenuity. Therefore, the printing of guides, the creation of Whatsapp groups or the elaboration of video capsules have become the main allies to carry out these activities.   For all teachers it has been a great challenge to carry out distance classes through technological platforms, to restructure all teaching methodologies and for us, the students, it has been a challenge to be able to adapt to these new forms of teaching.   The headaches became a habit after a long time in front of the screens, I had to buy glasses to diminish the visual fatigue, but many teachers limited the time of their classes in good of the mental health.   Online meeting platforms have b...

Post 5: My future Job

Imagen
The job I would like to have in a few years time is Director of Photography, this job consists of thinking and making the image in movement, it is a job that requires creativity and a lot of technique with the equipment. It is a work mostly outdoors because it consists of recording and filming, the amount of equipment needed is quite a lot because photography needs lighting, cables, tripods and many batteries. I would love to travel a lot at work, that would help not to make my working life boring, I would like to take pictures of different cities in the world and have a personal collection of the trips. Also, I would love to make video clips, since I find it very interesting to combine the image with the music and to be able to promote the art. Currently I study Film and Television, I have specialized throughout my career in Documentary Filmmaking and in Photography Direction, which has helped me a lot about the theory of the image and the registration of reality. I would like m...

Post 4: My pet

Imagen
This is my turtle called Siba, it belongs to a species of semi-aquatic reptiles known for their red ears, their shell can reach 25 centimeters, they can live between 20 and 30 years. My father gave it to me when I was 7 years old. I took care of it and fed it since I was a child, I think I did very well because now it is giant, it measures almost 22 centimeters and weighs 240 grams. My little turtle Siba is 15 years old, she has lived most of her life with me, her favorite food is dried shrimp and pellets. She also loves to rest in the sun and to be taken out of the aquarium, believe it or not, turtles like this are very fast, they like to hide under sofas and beds. Siba is like a sister to me, she is part of my memories as a child. She used to be very small, but as the years went by, we had to change her aquarium more than twice to make her comfortable.

Post 3: The Best Song Ever

Imagen
Comfortably Numb The best song in history for me is by the band Pink Floyd and it's called "Comfortably Numb", this song was created by David Gilmour and later Roger Waters composed the rest of the song.        This song finally saw the light in the year 1979, David Gilmour became more famous and known for the guitar solo that appears in the song. Guitar World magazine ranked David Gilmour's solo in 4th place on its list of "The 100 Greatest Guitar Solo's" although for fans around the world, it is one of the greatest solos in history.      This song originates from an experience in a concert that Roger Waters lived, in the year 1977, the leader of the band was not in conditions to play with the group because he had strong abdominal pains. Later, a doctor decided to inject him with a strong muscle relaxant that helped Roger Waters to be able to play that day with his band, completely numb.  While many thought the song was about drugs, Wat...

Post 2: The best Holidays

Imagen
In February 2017 I decided to travel with some friends to Chiloé alone with a backpack and a tent. We spent three weeks touring every part of this island that has many myths and beautiful places like Ancud, Cucao, Quellón, etc. I went with two friends to visit this island, we toured the 16 churches of the island, also in Ancud we recognized other friends who joined our group. We visited the National Park of Cucao, which has an intact nature too green and beautiful, we also went to the Muelle del Alma. Both places have a very different climate from what is known in Chile, so you have to go very early to avoid the cold fog of the afternoon. This trip was the best because I met a lot of unique flora and fauna in this world, which I would like to visit again someday. An extra feature of this place is its architecture in Castro, in this place the houses built on the shore are known as "Palafitos".

Post 1: A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

Imagen
The country I would like to visit is Uruguay, this country is very beautiful has many docks and green parks, has many beaches and an interesting history and culture. It also has very few inhabitants and was one of the countries that best controlled the situation of the Covid-19 in Latin America.  An extra fact I know about this country is that in 2013 it legalized the production and consumption of marijuana, helping many medical patients and fighting against drug trafficking and the black market in the country. In addition, it is one of the safest countries and with less criminalization rates. I would like to live there because it is a country where Spanish is spoken and has a good supply of labor, it also has a 98% unionization rate. This gives me hope to get a quick job and good labor rights, which gives me stability to live in this small but interesting country that is not so far from ours.
